Sarah Adams dedicates her practice to providing the highest quality defense to her clients. Before starting her criminal defense practice, Ms. Adams practiced as a civil and regulatory litigator for six years, gaining extensive energy regulatory, lobbying and administrative law experience. She was recently identified by her peers as an "Oregon Rising Star."

A former policy analyst, Ms. Adams received her BA from Sarah Lawrence College; a M.Sc. from London School of Economics, School of Government; and J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2002 (magna cum laude).

Prior to joining Hoffman Angeli LLP, Ms. Adams practiced law at Stoel Rives LLP and McDowell & Rackner PC in Portland, Oregon. She has taught as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Lewis & Clark Law School. Ms. Adams is a member of the Oregon State Bar's Antitrust and Trade Regulation Executive Committee and is Treasurer of the Oregon Gay and Lesbian Law Association (OGALLA). She has also served on ACLU Oregon's Screening Committee.
